With an illustrious career in the hospitality industry that spans over 31 years, Mr. Ashworth brings a wealth of international experience, a robust professional network, and exceptional leadership. His tenure has seen him strategically and operationally guide various esteemed hotel organizations, demonstrating a flair for innovative thinking and strategic growth.
Mr. Ashworth’s key achievements include leading the development and successful launch of numerous prestigious 5-star resorts over the past nine years with the Zannier Hotels Group, overseeing pre-opening through to operations in Cambodia, Belgium, Namibia, and Vietnam, all earning an array of distinguished international travel awards. Before that, he was instrumental during his six years at Six Senses Hideaway Resort and Spa in Koh Samui -Thailand, where he contributed to earning accolades from Condé Nast, TripAdvisor, and SmartTravel.
Known for his integrity and positive work ethic, Mr. Ashworth is dedicated to nurturing and developing talent, fostering a culture of innovation, and integrating sustainability and local community partnerships into resort development, such as establishing ‘Farm to Table’ organic gardens and a ‘Waste to Wealth’ recycling plant, etc. His leadership is synonymous with driving results, enhancing quality, and achieving operational excellence.
